In recent years,With the Internet and the rapid development of digital technology, Not only broaden the scope of the interests of right holders,but also to bring copyright protection of digital products the crisis. Because images,video,audio and so many of the works in digital form can be obtained, and multimedia processing software can edit and modify unboundedly digital products,Which will lead to massive unauthorized copying and tampering, This will harm the development of the publishing industry, while the authenticity of digital products has also been widespread concern in society. Digital watermarking technology as the field of information hiding important branch of research, is to protect the integrity of multimedia copyright and effective way to ensure information,and also is currently a hot research.In addition, with the rapid development of integrated circuit manufacturing technology, FPGA (Field Programmable Gata Array) chips,integration and processing capabilities have been greatly improved,so using FPGA can achieve complex circuit functions,in the processing speed FPGA can meet the needs of most users.In this paper, using the characteristics of programmable FPGA circuit, designed for embedding in the DCT domain of the digital watermark embedding system, The system selects the intermediate frequency of DCT coefficients as the carrier of watermark, Hardware had been designed a two-dimensional discrete cosine transform (DCT2) and a anti-dimensional discrete cosine transform (IDCT2),they greatly increased the speed of operation;Software part of the design include SD card reader and digital watermark embedding,Flex which consist of Hard and soft not only shorten the development cycle also facilitate the improved algorithm.This paper introduces the digital watermarking technology, MATLAB and FPGA technology status and development trend, studies typical digital image watermarking algorithms and video watermarking algorithms and their applications.According to existing digital watermarking algorithm advantages and disadvantages,proposed a DCT-based watermarking algorithm,this algorithm has good invisibility and a certain immunity. According to this algorithm scrambling watermarking algorithm,color watermarking algorithm and based on JPEG format images watermarking algorithm were proposed.Firstly, using MATLAB achieve and verify the feasibility of the proposed algorithm, then using C language achieve the algorithm,and based on MATLAB and MFC digital watermark embedding and extraction system were given.Then hardware system is established, and C language program is ported to the Nios II.In the system hardware architecture,this article briefly introduced the system on a programmable chip(SOPC)design and development process;In the system software architecture, this article briefly introduces based on the Nios II of the design and development process.
