As a combination of geography science and information technology,the development of GIS has been closely related with the advancement of computer technology since its very beginning. With the coming century, the computer has entered the new era we call it "after PC era". In this era, the computer science has development a lot in fuzzy search algorithm and wireless network. All of those are well prepared for the development of Mobile GIS.Firstly, this thesis summarizes general idea of the three aspects of GIS's definition, classification and composition, and by the development trend of which, the thesis extends the basic concept of Mobile map search service system., then described in detail of the service model, the system's features and applications range. Papers aimed at resolving the key issues of mobile map search service system, in this part, analysis the main problem exists in the system.: By describing the advantages of electronic maps, digital processes and data Structureure, clarifying the system of data characteristics; Through analyzing the function and Structureure of the MapServer, researching organization of Shapefile and Quadtree space index, revealed the system's graphics engine principle; Through a detailed analysis of mobile communication technology and mobile Internet technology, discussion on the network Structureure of the system.; Through the existing Chinese word segmentation algorithm for the classification and the use of Lucene, the system provides a good interactive environment. At last, the experiment system demonstrated the possibility of the scheme, the scheme treat MapServer as the system graphics engine; Build the wireless communications network model which is based on the establishment of a multi-threaded to the MMS, supplemented by the SMS-based; Make the use of Lucene and the technical framework to achieve the Chinese index, segmentation and retrieval, creating a good user interaction environment.System development needs to solve the key problem is: 1. retrieval of spatial information processing and optimization, 2. generation of space graphics engine. In order to solve the key problems and the design of the whole system, the project research on the use of Chinese word segmentation algorithm based on Lucene classification and retrieval technology to solve the retrieval of spatial information processing and optimization, the use of MapServe open source development tools WebGIS and Shapefile data file to build a space graphics engine module. Finally, combined with the MMS communication, JAVA and other related technology development, to construct a perfect MMS or WAP spatial information query platform. The theses mainly include research work as above:1.Through in-depth analysis of the structure and function of MapServer, Shapefile file organization and four forks tree spatial index, reveals the spatial graphics engine principle.2 . Lucene technical framework on the realization of the Chinese word segmentation and indexing, retrieval; using MapServer and Shapefile data file system space graphics engine, constructs the city bus lines, spots and tourist spots in the WebGIS query platform.3.To establish a multithread wireless communication network model, build mobile terminal and mobile value-added server connection bridge, completed the MMS and SMS uplink and downlink function.4.To complete the system of foreground and background in each module needs analysis, design, code implementation and system test work.By the experimental tests and running, the system basically runs correctly, achieves the design target, can meet the needs of mobile phone users to spatial information requirements...
