| Along with the rapid development of network technology, the Internet becomes one of the people daily use tools, the network scale unceasingly expands, the topology and function are is becoming more and more stronger. Network management has become the key operation quality of network system. The network devicem management and network monitoring plays an important part in the network management.This paper designs a comprehensive network management, including network device management and network monitoring.According to the status of network management, the system that we develop is used to manage the daily issues of campus network. The main functions of the system are equipment information management,equipment account management, equipment movement management, status authentication, user information management, and equipment condition and diary management. Identity authentication and jurisdiction management model has resolved the multi-account and multi-password problem;The equipment information management model collects the log of each device, including the information of purchase, test, use and disuse, and managers can query the information at any time,facilitate schools asset management. The equipment account management module enable equipment managers to manage their accounts more easily. What' more, the account information is encrypted and saved in the database. Meanwhile this module provides support for automatically login. Log management in the school network management is extremely important in, through the collection of log to network system Trouble Shooting.The equipment movement management model provides two management patterns, one is Web Telnet, and the other is automatically login based on Web network management. The equipment condition and log management model can display all the information of running equipment dynamically. This module also carries on the statistics of all kinds of malfunction information. Equipment manager can make use of the information to solve kinds of network problems. This paper mainly introduces the process of the whole system's development and completion, including system modeling, component development, and database access and system deployment. Network monitoring is designed in order to find the abnormity of campus network. This paper is monitoring the network actively and passively, which includes SNMP Get and SNMP Trap. The network monitoring design for graphical interface to display the network, including the basic configuration information, port traffic,router table, ARP table, FDB table. And use Java language to achieve many network management tools, such as Ping, MIB library browser, Telnet, SSH, Tracert and Romote Desktop etc.When the network is in abnormal, The waning type is including SMS, Email and log.The warning infomations reported in the home page of the network systems.And feelback the event to network managers.So network managements can immediately find problems, keep the risk to the minimum. |
