Design And Implementation Of Network Device Monitoring System

With the rapid development of computer network technology, computer network has penetrated into every field of society today, it is self-evident for its important role.But the network equipment increasing, expanding, structure more complex, resulting in network failures and attacks also emerge in an endless stream, both the IDC(Internet Data Center) room or business schools and other institutions of its own network, the network security and stability requirements are more prominent, need to carry on monitoring and management of network.But currently on the market for network monitoring and management software, basic is a single public mode, such as devoted to the monitoring of the port state flow monitoring, and so on, the lack of system can be integrated with a variety of monitoring management function.Therefore, this article on the network monitoring management and simple network management protocol(SNMP) and other relevant content are studied, and based on the design and implementation of network equipment monitoring system. The system is based on the basic principle of network monitoring and management, to network equipment monitoring system needs analysis, implementation of SNMP using the technology of JSP(Simple Network Management Protocol) function, through the OID(object identifiers) to obtain a variety of devices in the network data information, and then through the SNMP JSP language related function interface, various related data and call treatment of SNMP access to web interface, and finally to form, to help administrators to monitor the network within the scope of all hardware devices and servers.Network equipment monitoring system designed in this paper, by testing its operation is reliable and stable, visual display, simple operation. The function module is expected to full realization of the system test shows, scalability. To realize integration of many network monitoring management, this system can realize the seamless monitoring and management of network equipment, improve the efficiency of the network equipment monitoring and management, so as to enhance the stability and security of the network.
