The Research And Development On Management Information System Oriented Equipments In The Basic Military Unit

With profound changes in military filed and rapid development of information technology around the world, to construct an information-based army and win the war of information worldwide becomes a critical strategic goal of the army construction in China. "The quantification of the store and supply, the containerization of the transportation, the informatization of the management and the support of the field operations" have been taken as our guide for the current equipment construction. The database management information system oriented equipments in the basic military unit has been developed in order to meet the requirements of the basic unit transformation from the mechanization to the informatization.The powerful SQL Server2005 database is chosen as the platform in the system which takes the PowerBuilder 9.0 as application program development tools, adopts the structure of C/S mode. According to the requirements of the system, ODBC interface is used to connect the database and application program development software, object-oriented database and programming technology are selected to build the system.For construction of the basic unit equipment management information system, the domestic and foreign construction of equipment information and the process of equipment support are researched, the information-based reform situation which the basic units confront with is analyzed. To bring the equipment support sector into the equipment management systems is innovatively put forward. Firstly, the equipment utilization and guarantee condition in the basic units are analyzed in detail, the function mode is classified and the system structure is determined. And then, the conception structure, logic structure and physical structure for the database are designed. The database table for saving data information is planned and designed in detail. Subsequently, the system front-end application software is developed and the user menu and the friendly human-machine exchange interface was created by using the object-oriented programming technology of the application program development tool. The realization of the system function is considered, meanwhile the convenience for the users also is raised. At the stage of system development and implementation, the login mode, recovery, backup and restore mode for the background database are set up, which guarantee the security of the system data.After achieving the system design, development and implementation, several system application examples are used to introduce the system function and verify the availability of the system.
