The technique of radio frequency identification is a kind of automatic identification technology, rising and mushrooming since 1990s. It is a new radio frequency technology which realizes non-contact intercommunication with RF for real-time identification and data exchange.Zigbee as a kind of wireless communications technology that based on wireless standard IEEE802.15.4 has the following features: close, low complexity degree of difficulty, low power, low cost, low-data rate and so on. It can complete the data collection, quantification, processing and transmission; can be embedded in the device.To compensate for the lack of database management, get and update the medical equipment information real-timely on the inspection or maintenance site,to achieve more systematic and efficient management, thus improve the ability of military medical service support, we has developed the portable medical equipment, military identity management system based on the advanced technology RFID and Zigbee.The system not only has the functions of database management, by using handheld reader, it also can achieve real-time access and update of the information. Considering the work distance of Zigbee, we use two ways to achieve data transmission: close case, we use Zigbee to realize wireless transfer of data; long distance, we store the data to the handset temporarily, then upload the data to server in wire way. The serial port monitoring software we develop can immediately analysis and display the data, and meanwhile, the data can be automatically written to the database. Efficient identification, transmission and data update three-pronged approach to equipment management, so that the efficiency can be greatly increased, which reaching the desired objective of the research.By expanding the system capabilities, it also can be used in the army warehouse material management, weapons and equipment management, thus greatly accelerating the information construction process of the military management.Main work in this thesis:1. Hardware selection and design: according to the needs of actual application, electronic tag that we choose is Mifare1S50 RF card for joining the anti-metal process, handheld reader is HDT-3000 in which embedded the Zigbee wireless communication network transceiver function modules in order to achieve real-time and two-way data transmission at close range; our selection for fixed reader is MSR-100 read-write module. Both the handle reader and the fixed reader are available through RS-232 interface to connect to the server to achieve data communications.2. Software development: Conclude four parts:Applications softwares of the handheld, fixed reader, server serial port monitoring software and database management .Among them, the fixed reader software is used to generate the tag information; the handheld reader program, developed by using C language under the build environment ClepStudio, is used to implement real-time access and update information; the later three parts of the software were all developed by Delphi7.0 + SQLSever2000.3. System test: with the support of self-developed software, we have completed the following tests: test of read and write operations from the reader which include portable hand-held readers and fixed reader to tag; test of the network construction of Zigbee module as well as the wireless communication of data at close range; function test of the application software modules and so on.
