With the development of information technology, the new equipment managementmeasures are desired in the army. This thesis will firstly discuss the framework andsignificance of the military equipment MIS. Aiming at the requirement of equipmentmanagement, the function and structure of the system have been designed. Therequirement analysis,design method,program realization and testing of the system willbe particularly expounded.The thesis firstly describes the structural design of the system. By comparing theadvantages and disadvantages of C/S and B/S mode, we select the B/S mode to developthe system. Secondly, according to the functional requirements, database constructionand security requirements of the system, we designed six modules to realize eachfunction. They are user management module, system management module, system platesetup module, information adding, maintain and display module, online communicationmodule and auxiliary module. Finally, we carried out the programming implementationand system testing according to design. By using Microsoft.NET as systemdevelopment platform, and ASP.NET as WEB development tool. The system interfaceand functions of each module has been realized. And a compatible database ofMicrosoft Access and SQL Server2000has been built, which contains all the data tablesof the system. We using the ASP.NET+ADO.NET programming mode to implementedfast and convenient accessing to the database. At the same time, the test of the systemfunctions, performance and security has been designed and implemented.This thesis will focus on the research of MIS modularization design. Actualize thefollowing functions:(1) Management of the system user,implement the function of rights division andaccessing to the different modules;(2) Management of the equipment, position and software information, it can freelymodify, add, delete, and edit that type of information;(3) Examining the running complexion of system, it can master the situation ofsystem response speed, controls, installation, and so on; (4) Querying and counting of information in system, and output documents andother types of results;(5) Operating and backing up the database, it can facilitate the user who familiarwith the SQL language to operate database;(6) Sending and receiving mails, communion online and so on, it can facilitateuser’s data sharing and exchanging, and conducive to the development of the industry.This thesis discusses the development of military equipment MIS in detail, anddeeply researches the mode of equipment management. It resolves many key technologyproblems, and provides important technology for the exploitation of informationsystem.
