With the improvement in the level of the forces of information technology, theprimary unit management has gradually incorporated into the important agenda of unitinformation construction. Primary unit weapons equipment management is directlyrelated to the process of information construction of primary unit. The existing primaryunit weapons equipment management method has used from the last century, it does notfollow the progress of science and technology. Focusing on the features of weaponsequipment management in primary units, pay attention to the fact of soldiers’continuously elevated level of science and culture,the development of a computernetwork as the basis of the efficient application of weaponry management systems,contributes to the informatization and modernization of the primary unit weaponsmanagement, and provides protection for the improvement of combat effectiveness ofroops. I take The primary unit weapons equipment management system as the researchobject, use computer technology, and make the management of primary unit weaponsequipment scientific and standardized.In order to achieve the design requirements of the weapon equipment managementsystem, the major work completed in this paper as followed:①Establish the business model, analyze the system requirements, draw the dataflow diagrams and system ER diagram, and then design the overall structure of thesystem. Design the stored procedures for saving and restoring database. Accomplish thefunction of data storage, update, query and statistics for the information data ofequipments and users, and a simple but detailed functional user interface to facilitateprimary unit equipment management, which could speed up the informatizationprocesses of the primary unit.②According to the division of the functional modules, I design the structure of thevarious subsystems. The system management module validates user name and passwordof users of weapons and equipment; Application of weapons e equipment managementmodule accomplishes proactive demand for weapons and equipment users, andequipment at the person in charge is responsible for review and approval; Deposit ofweapons equipment management module presents information to the person in chargeof equipment at users of weapons and equipment; Communication exchange modulefacilitates the communication of the users of weapons equipment and equipment person in charge; Statistics inquiries of weapons equipment module statistics and queries avariety of equipment management, allowing users to fully understand the currentsituation; Maintenance of system data module accomplishes backup and restore data, inorder to ensure the security of system data.③Test the availability and security of the system, the test results showthepreformation fits with the previous design goal.The study made of theory and practice provides a set of line equipmentcharacteristics of computer-based management methods for the primary units, which isfull of practical significance and application value in guiding the construction ofprimary units weapon equipment management.Make practical application as the core,improve the scientific and timeliness of the equipment management, achieve theoptimal configuration of the equipment information resources, and improve the combateffectiveness of troops.
