China has entered the building a moderately prosperous society and accelerating the socialist modernization drive of the new stage of development .State Council vision ,assess the situation and made great efforts to promote the economic and social information in strategic decision-making ,formulated the"National Development Strategy(2006-2020)",the development of information technology to deploy a series of major .After several years of unremitting efforts ,china made significant progress in information technology ,with remarkable results ,in promoting economic and social development and all-round development has played an active and important role.E-government information technology in carrying out the process of building ,with the deepening of e-government ,the amount of data continues to expand .Data centers have become the central nervous system of the government information ,data centers throughout the government information system and its important responsibility borne by the importance is obvious .With e-business becoming increasingly dependent on information systems major ,the whole business system data are concentrated in the data center ,making data centers face unprecedented security risks and security challenges.Planning data center storage and backup systems for critical applications in the critical data and operating systems for centralized ,localized data protection ,through intelligent backup software ,use of existing IP SAN network ,on the private network of business-critical data ,LAN backup ,through the near-line backup and offline backup two data protection, implementation of the database data file data and operating system for local backup and off-site data backup ,to ensure business-critical security.Jilin Provincial Government special network stored data is the government's critical information require data storage and backup to safe ,reliable and efficient .In this paper ,People's Government of Jilin Province ,the actual private network storage needs and develop the design of the program's basic design principles of the Data Center storage backup system design ,including research of network storage technology ,FC SAN and IP SAN technology ,comparative study ,security research ,Network Storage Technology and RAID technology research .On this basis ,data backup storage system and a detailed system design ,the program has some practical value .In this scenario ,based on my unit had special network centralized data storage and backup ,etc. ,this work is currently underway.The first chapter introduces the data center storage operations and storage of the current challenges facing the construction of the basic requirements of backup systems.The second chapter describes RAID technology, storage technology and knowledge.The third chapter describes the storage backup system designed to follow the eight basic principles of design based on the guidance documents ,national standards and regulatory documents and for overall system design ,given the data storage backup system topology.The forth chapter of this subject ,a detailed study of network storage technology ,FC SAN and IP SAN technology ,security technology and RAID technology ,in this based on the private network storage system design ,and design a data backup system.Chapter V presents the main experience in the design process and future need to be carefully studied and so on.
