Along with the zoom of information content and the increase of requirement for the information importance and security,the management method and means of information will face the more severe requirement and challenge.How to rapidly meet the requirement for the increase of information content and effectively manage and maintain the information resource is an urgent subject,which also has very important significance.As a kind of solution for the memory with networked configuration,based on which to make the memory system with high capacity and performance,SAN is becoming the investigative focus.Therefore,the research to the RAID which is the most critical technology for the memory storage management system appears much important.This paper discusses RAID data storage technology and method in SAN structure and researches many critical technologies on RAID design.According to the task requirement,mass memory management system of SAN is established.Based on RAID 5 +0,the optimizing strategy of "writing in bit",data reconstruction and so on,the system performance is tested and evaluated by using disk arrays system project with dual-processor and high Capacity CACHE.Test result certifies that the software and hardware design adopted by this system is successful in the mass.RAID 5 + 0 model(50 model for short),which combined technologies and design of RAID 0 and RAID 5,makes manifold RAID into RAID 0 array,which increases the concurrency of I /O.The optimizing strategy of "writing in bit" increases the response speed and bandwidth of writing in bit with random/order.The algorithm of data reconstruction reduces the requirement of memory resource during restructuring process and takes full advantage of the idler bandwidth of system.The fast reconstitution speed can also increase the response speed to the consumer.The test proves that the mass memory management system based on SAN can rapidly dispose or respond to the host request and all kinds of disc operation by the aid of CACHE with high capacity and dual-processor.This system also has capability of fault-tolerance,preferable usability and stability,which can meet the requirements for the memory management system with high performance in enterprise level.
