As a pollution-free and renewable power source, Wind energy is getting more and more attention in the whole world. At the present stage, wind energy is used to generate electricity. In the one hand, wind turbine is the key equipment in this technology, so its malfunction will cause a lot of loss. In the other hand, wind turbines are usually installed in the place which the people can not live, so the workers can not do the real-time overhaul. The advanced wireless monitor technology for wind generating electricity can ensure the system get long term safe reliable operation. And data acquisition units play an important role in the system whose function includes data acquisition, procession, collection, and transmission.This paper is based on analyzing the data acquisition in current status and future trends at home and abroad. The new data acquisition is based on the FPGA, including high speed signal acquisition, collection, an adaptive filter, and transmission with ARM. At first, the hardware and software design of data acquisition is complete, including signal conditioning, key phase signal measurement circuit, A/D converting circuit and FPGA peripheral circuit. Secondly, considering the anti-jamming design, the PCB placement and routing are finished. Thirdly, with researching the traditional LMS algorithm, this paper presents a new adaptive filtering based on improvement of step and cline, and practiced in the data acquisition unit. With the help of the ISE10.1 of Xilinx, the software contains A/D procession unit in data acquisition, complete period sampling unit, SPI transmission for arm communication are designed in detail. At last, the units up to standard of data acquisition of wireless monitor system by simulation and testing and verifying.The data acquisition unit is tested in wireless monitor in wind generating electricity system, the result prove the unit can provide the data supporting, which include complete period sampling, noise reduction, collection, and transmission. The unit provides the basic data not only for state identification and fault diagnosis, but also real-time error state detection.
