With the development of laser and electronic technology, lidar products arewidely used in atmosphere detection, environment monitoring and many other areas.For the moment, fiber coherent Doppler wind lidar is a hot research topic because ofits high precision, high spatial resolution, low power and small size.Coherent wind-testing lidar needs to perform real-time processing on largeamounts of data, which, consequently, imposes a high requirement on the capabilityof the signal sampling and processing system. Currently,1550nm laser technology isalready very mature, its pulse repeat frequency can reach10KHz. In order to getadapted to the development of laser technology, this article focuses on the research ofsignal sampling and processing system for the application of fiber coherent wind lidar.The article consists of five units, namely, topic background and its significance,general design of the system, system hardware design, system software design andsystem test.The first unit introduces the principle of coherent wind lidar and the status quo ofthe research on coherent wind lidar around the world. This unit also talks about thesignificance of this topic.The second unit elaborates on the general design of the data sampling andprocessing system. This unit provides various kinds of parameter for the system basedon the capability requirement of the lidar, then, states in detail the data samplingprocessing workflow. In the end, this part offers general design plan for the system.The third unit describes the hardware design of the system in simplicity, which ismainly about the interface design between different modules.The fourth unit is about FPGA logic design and Nios II software design, which isthe key part of this article. FPGA logic design mainly accomplishes the large amountsof real-time calculating needed by the coherent wind lidar and is the most difficultpart in this design. Nios II mainly controls the communication module.The fifth unit is about the test of the data sampling and processing system, whichincludes lab test and field test. Then this part analyzes the data obtained from the test.
