As the rapid development in information technology, curriculum and teaching management platform is playing an increasingly important role in research and development. Curriculum and teaching management platform can make full use of information technology, achieve diversity, but also can enrich the content and form of teaching resources, improve management efficiency and level of teaching and research.Sakai management was an open-source curriculum and instruction management system (CMS) development program developed by several universities in the United States in 2004. It is aimed at developing an alternative school system, or related commercial software systems. Sakai platform released as open source system via the use of educational licensing, Merlin Foundation provided funding for the project. Platform supports a variety of teaching methods, can provide users with user-friendly, easy learning environment. More and more colleges and universities are choosing to use sakai platform, many experts and working groups have been continuously enriched and improved the Sakai's functionality to better serve the teaching and research services.In this paper analyses the Sakai design and development principles, platform features and installation deployment, on the basis of comprehensive analysis of the Sakai system, structure, source code and the use of technology. Also through research and analysis of Sakai tools, combined with the actual use of Graduate School requirements.Candidates can easily check their own information, Graduate School's officers can easily manage the information of the candidates. The tools meet the Graduate School of the practical needs of daily work to improve the efficiency and also to promote my school's information technology development.
