The Development And Design Of Examinee Management Information System

Examinee Management Information System (EMIS) is based on SQL Server 2000 as the database server, and its interface is developed using Delphi. The mainly function of EMIS is to establish and manage the data information of examinees, including examinees' information adding, searching, deleting, modification, data Stat., data importing and exporting, report forms displaying, result information printing. EMIS improves the management of examinees' information and establish the information communication among human, computers and database that would make it possible for the administrator to manage all the examinees' information via the system. In a word, EMIS improves the information efficiency of the whole Test Management System. The main contents of this thesis are:The basic concept of database, the definition and futures of distributed database system, the developing trend of current database system, and some new database techniques are all given in this thesis via describing the history, technical ideas, structural futures of OOD and the comparison between traditional developing methods and OOD. The system scheme, the process description, the programming language, the C/S structure and its interaction process are descript in this thesis, the functional and no-functional requirements are established after comparing the two structures.The data model and database were setup after optimizing the system performance and choosing the proper data type, finally, the system functional designing and implementing methods were established in this thesis.The testing methods and process of functions of EMIS, including examinees' information adding, searching, deleting, modification, data exporting, data Stat., report forms printing were descript in detail in this thesis.The workload of users is decreased greatly, the efficiency of examining and revising are greatly improved, the generating of report forms is speeding up by using the net based EMIS, thus EMIS plays an important part in improving school management standards.
