Spare parts supply is one of the important after-sales services, which is closely related to the keeping of auto brand and economic performance of repairing enterprise. There is a basic principle of parts supply, which is that it is not only necessary to meet the needs of auto repairing, but also to use the fund reasonably. The accurate forecasting of parts demand is very important to the rationality and economy of parts supply. The primary task of this thesis is to apply RFID technology and business intelligence in the supply chain of automotive spare parts. It is to monitor each node of supply chain in real-time and efficient way, and to do post-processing and decision support. So that it will be to form an intelligent demand forecasting support system.As a wide range of automotive spare parts and unstable demands combining with the complexity of forecasting and unstructured and inadequate information, we build an information system of parts supply forecast by the method of combining RFID technology and Business Intelligence. Firstly, it analyzes the background of parts supplying for automotive industry pointing out the problems of auto parts industry and the future direction of RFID technology and BI, and the feasibility of technology application of RFID and BI are discussed. Second, according to the feature and marketing strategy of automotive spare parts industry, it describes the forecasting process and features of spare parts and builds forecast model of parts supplying demand. Third, we propose a system structure with logical relationship to forecast the parts demand intelligently, which includes system architecture description, RFID information processing subsystem designing, data warehouse subsystem designing, intelligent prediction subsystem designing. Finally, the process of systematic application of critical parts is explained.This thesis describes the concept designing of demand forecasting system of auto spare parts supply chain, based on advantage of RFID and BI technology, which will be useful and meaningful for integration of auto spare part supply chain.
