In recent years, because of the improvement of people’s living standard, with thedevelopment of the domestic vehicles market, particularly, the passenger car market, thatbrings unprecedented opportunities for all the domestic automobile production enterprises.Unfortunately,enterprises,facing both opportunities and challenges,try to capture a largermarket shares. Compared with other consumer products, By providing more services youhope to capture more shares, in fact, after-sale services depends on the stable and timelysupply after-sale service spare parts. So, Spare parts of sales company play critical roles in theafter-sales service and automobile market.Vehicle sales company’s spare parts management is a complex system of logistics. Thecompany render three parts services, the first part is hundreds of parts suppliers, the secondpart is automotive supplies for manufacturers that have infinite variety and store in manywarehouses, the third part is hundreds of automobile sales and service. Business process hassome characteristics, such as complex, large amount of information, logistics, informationflow and cash flow, and many other aspects. As a result, vehicle spare parts management’sgoal is to spare parts purchasing management, sales management, inve ntory management, andother business processes closely together.In this paper, the information system of Vehicle sales company spare parts managementcontains spare parts’ procurement, warehousing, delivery, sales, and etc. It is mainlycomposed of basic data module, modules of purchasing management, sales managementmodule, inventory management module, and so on. The system basically covers managementbusiness of all vehicle spare parts, and can greatly improve work efficiency of the vehiclespare parts management, includes the following:(1) The function of spare parts procurement. The central through intelligent order, analyzethe current inventory, the sales during the month, and purchase quantity per month, in order toform application for the central purchasing. Sales company, after receiving application, needto apply for a review, merge and form the purchase order, and send the supplier. Then,supplier to confirm the purchase order. When warehouse received goods, and completed thetransfer function from the distribution center to every central. (3) The function of spare parts sales. According to each distributor submits cargo orders,system can automatically generate sales order. After review, sales company can make the planlist of shipment and guide delivery.The paper analyzes the system structure, main function modules, main business processes,and each module of detailed design, development and implementation in the system in detail.Backend database is Oracle10.2, software development chooses the J2EE architecture, andforeground adopts the structure that combined B/S and C/S. For the sales company, using theC/S structure can get high processing speed; for distributor side, adopting B/S structure, isconvenient to access.As the increasing volume of business in vehicle dealers, it becomes the key of systemwhether fulfill the needs of dealers in time.The intelligent functions of the system can meetthe dealer’s order and reduce the occupancy of warehouse, overriding, save money for salescompany.
