Solid-state green laser became an important role in the industrial processing, marine exploration, military utilities, medical and so on, and it has become a hot research field of laser. Based on scientific research and market needs, this paper is to design a practical industrial green pulse laser. This paper introduces the historical development of solid-state lasers and examples of green lasers used in all areas, indicating the need for development of green laser pulse, then the four-level rate equation, Q pulse equation, and phase matching frequency doubling technology and other key principles were discussed. Commonly used commercially available re-introduced the laser crystal and frequency doubling crystal, from which we select the appropriate design of the crystal material, and the crystalline materials to optimize the design parameters. Finally, the most appropriate design was selected, and end-pumped, frequency doubling technology and sound Q-switched is selected; Thermal lens, cavity length, cavity spot distribution were analyzed and calculated. In this thesis, the main experimental work and innovations can be summarized as follows:(1) Union the merits of semiconductor cooling and conduction cooling, we designs a set to suit the frequency multiplication crystal cooling system, and the biggest merit is the real-time monitor, high the controllability;(2) We designs a suit cavity shape structure through the simulation analysis of the resonant cavity length, spot size and other parameters;(3) Under the conditions of the end-pumped and folding cavity-shaped structure when the pump power of 30W and the repetition rate of 40KHz we get the average power 1.81W, green laser pulse width 35ns.
