At present, a lot of data management related problems widely exist in the enterprise, such as low degree of the data-sharing and disorder of the data management, which bring a great deal of issues of data redundancy, variance, safety and integrity. In this paper, based on LabVIEW, a networked data management system is developed via C\S framework. A valid data management platform is set up in the system, which can implement the management of the experimenting-data in the area of LAN, and satisfy the subsequent operation among the multiuser. The whole system consists of three designs of the server software, the database interview and the client software.Firstly, according to the deep analysis of the system need and data saved, the building of the server system platform is completed. The database management model designs of the user, the sample, the fault, the experimenting-data and the database are founded through the basis of the deep analysis of database design. The advantage of this strategy is to remove the data redundancy effectively, to insure the data integrity, and to strengthen the system stability.Secondly, the design of the database interview takes use of the ADO technology of LabVIEW. Comparing with the various long-distance visiting method of database, the ADO technology of LabVIEW is decided to implement the database interview. According to this, collocating the beginning data source, achieving communications between LabVIEW and database and building the whole framework of the database interview are achieved.Thirdly, the user software of the interface and bottom is realized by LabVIEW. To insure the safety of the data, five kinds of operation modes are designed taking account of the system power. And the design of the data comeback and backup is carried on for the same purpose. At the same time, some functions are carried out effectively, such as the following management of the in-and-out database information of the experimenting-samples, the analysis of the sample fault information, the make of the fault tables, as well as the register, the checking, the modification, the deleting of the experimenting-data, the user-defined output of the data, and the user-defined showing of the data curve.Finally, the field-debugging is carried on through the communications between the customer and the server, the transmission of data and the use of the experimenting model in customer. The analysis of the problems existing in the debugging is taken on, and the solutions are mentioned. The whole system can operate efficiently and stably.
