The combination of computer technology and technology of test instruments results with the appearance of a new test instrument, virtual instruments (VI). The software strategy of VI is the developing trend of the third generation of automatic test system.Thanks to VI technology, the hardware and software resources can be shared, various digital signal processing systems can be built rapidly, and signal analysis, data processing and graphicalized display can be carried out conveniently. The digital signal processing system is developed under LabVIEW environment who was developed by National Instruments Company (USA) is called Graphics Language, and has compiled data acquisition and memory module in terms of the subject content, and compiled program has realized non- NI's drive hardware by means of the program of hardware control, the data sampling program is compiled according to the actual use condition. The system has provided abundant data analysis functions, and can carry on the detail explanation to the system data analysis function. Having introduced the data deposited and returned, data processed and data collected.The Digital Signal Processing which is regarded as CPU on board has some advantages, such as fast instruction execution, high bus bandwidth, and high speed real-time data processing. It is the most important that the DSP has original advantage in the algorithm. We can amplify the capacity of the signal processing through joining some typical algorithm programming in DSP software. The high speed transmission and real-time processing of the data is realized through adopting TMS320C5402 DSP.The system is composed of digital signal processing by the DSP, the FLASH completing the program loading after power on, the Complex Programmable Logic Device-CPLD completing the logic control of the peripherals of DSP, Using the HPI of DSP to carry on the data commutation between DSP and computer.The paper carries out a digital signal collecting system based on DSP, and a data processing system based on LabVIEW, Using the HPI of DSP to carry on the data commutation between DSP and computer. And introduces the hardware designing andsoftware designing, especially introduces the designing of digital signal collected, LabVIEW data processing and parallel port communications.
