Research On Distributed Modularized Data Acquisition System

With the development of science technology, it is very important to gather accurate device information both in industrial control and in fault detection field, which is the premise to analyze and predict equipment state. But the traditional data acquisition system has lower sampling accuracy and smaller measuring range, this issue applies modular design thought in data acquisition system, at the same time combining the embedded system technology and SPI bus technology to achieve intelligent data acquisition system.Firstly, this paper analyzes the current state of data acquisition system, introduces the state and feature of embedded system technology, proposes distributed data acquisition system utilizing embedded technology, SPI bus technology and modular design architecture, describes the system overall structure, clears all parts of the system functions. Designed the main acquisition control modular based on S3C2440 (ARM9 processor), and designed of analog acquisition modular ,switch acquisition modular and other modular ,using SPI bus to realize the communication between the bottom modular and the main controller. Secondly, in accordance with the development specifications of embedded system, completed the build of the operating system development environment, developed the SPI driver based on S3C2440 and then completed the transplant of Linux operating system to S3C2440. Finally, by programming for the data processing, it completed the data fast and accuracy acquisition. The whole control process can be real time display by monitoring interface. Experimental results show that the system designed combination of modular and embedded technology is flexible, stable and higher real-time which can meet the design requirements.
