In a critical period to accelerate the development and opening of Binhai NewArea, using information technology to achieve the strategic adjustment of theeconomic structure, the application of information technology to integrate into themainstream of the regional economic system, is to improve the comprehensivestrength of the Binhai New Area, innovation, service capabilities and internationalcompetitiveness of keylinks play an important way of Binhai New Area engine, anexemplary and leading role.Faced with the situation of our country in recent years, the construction of cargoterminal is to become a professional, large-scale and efficient loading and unloadingspeed direction,using new theories, new technology to improve the productivity of thecargo terminal,achieve the dock production operations automated, operation andmanagement of digitized. Ultimately to achieve high efficiency, high managementlevel, high system security, low energy costs, low equipment failure cargo terminalproduction collaboration platform, is the target of the project construction.The research of the system after a number of ports on the domestic bulk cargoterminal,and Tianjin Port several bulk cargo docks needs analysis, for the purpose ofreflecting the advanced nature, reliability, security, scalable, customizable,maintainability, quality customer experience and other aspects of the characteristics,This system used C/S(Client/Server)architecture, and VC++, PB10.20, Oracle10g asthe development platform,design the main workflow module. And it used B/S(Browser/Server) architecture design WEB subsystem. The subsystem uses the Javalanguage-based Eclipse development platform to customize, for leadershipdecision-making query statistics. The system can almost cover the bulk cargoterminals operations process,reached domestic leading level in the process control ofthe operation, visual monitoring, resource allocation and the real-time delivery ofinformation.This system can improve the operating efficiency of the dock, therebyreduce the operating costs.GCTOS has been put into operation in Tianjin Port.With the continuousdeepening of this system, it will against the business requirements, constantly improve,to provide quality services to better serve the terminal companies.
