In recent years, the Information Technology has developed rapidly, as well as the theoryof Management. To go with this trend, companies around the globe have no choice but todeepen and widen their implementation of Information System.To survive the severe competition, even the biggest companies have to respond rapidlyto the change of customer taste. In order to accomplish this, each one turns to the applicationof multi-level Information System. The ultimate goal is to have the marking knowledgeabsorbed into departments within the boarder of the company, R&D department especially.There for, people need to figure out a way to transfer data through different systems. On thisbackground, this paper studies the current systems which have been used by companies of thegroup for many years. We try to figures out the key business processes throughout thedifferent systems, and find out the hurdle of system usage on this foundation.In this thesis, Purchasing, Production, and Sale processes are examined carefully. Allthese processes need the corporation of different departments. And each department has itsown resources. How to reorganize all these resources is a main subject of a multi-companygroup. So during a System Integration, these cross-departments processes need to bereexamined. We endeavored to figure out the bottle necks of each individual process.Science the company's main business is precision instrument, in Chapter4, the thesis focuses on the key processes of the company. All the important problems are singled outduring this illustration. With the usage of System, massive data is accumulated through years.The analysis of the data is never an easy job. Systems like Attendance, Asset Management,and Supplier Management System have their own function and separated reports. But across-system data integration is what really meaningful to the high level management.R&D departments today need to accommodate the fast-changing electronic market. Inorder to support this, PLM/PDM systems are widely used. But PLM system itself is definitelynot sufficient. It needs to work with the SCM or ERP. So that crucial information could gothrough marking departments\plants\R&D departments smoothly.The goal of this thesis is to fulfill all the presented management targets. Have the usageof information systems deeply studied and researched. Try to figure out the hurdle of keyprocesses of the company. And finally come up with a set of solutions and have the isolatedsystems integrated in different levels. Furthermore,(1) reexamined the key processes in theSCM\R&D\Manufacture domains.(2) On the foundation of this analysis, carry out the BPRacross the group.(3) And we had some of the functions reorganized among the systems.(4)In-between every System, we developed several interfaces to ensure the cross-reference ofmaster data.
