With the rapid development of high-tech weapons, their system models have run from simple and single models to complex and large models built in MATLAB,C,JAMSS modeling environments and so on. Along with the development and change, traditional dual simulation system cannot meet the demand of complex and large system simulation. To settle the problem, a way has been found and developed that it can resolve the large system to smaller ones and run them on different computers in time. That is distributed real-time simulation. It can simulate more complex system more accurately and also expands the simulation and improves the efficiency of it. Because of that, we'll study it deeply. Also, because Simulink has wide adaptability, structure and flow clear and simulation fine, close to reality, high efficiency, flexible and other advantages, in this research, we will study and design distributed real-time simulation and realize the simulation system based on Simulink RTW, using the model built in MATLAB environment as example. Because of the above, following aspects of the work have been done in the research:1. Design of overall structure of distributed real-time simulation systemAccording to the background of research and the demand of it, we do some preliminary study of distributed real-time simulation and design the overall structure of it. Then preliminary design of functional modules of Front-Controller and the target is done under the structure. After that, the reflection memory nets are chosen as the communication mode in the system and the data structure is designed for later use.2. Design and realization of Front-ControllerAccording to the preliminary design of Front-Controller before, we analyze the function and implementation method. For the realization of overall function of Front-Controller depending on the circulation of configuration information, we study it before design the Front-Controller specifically. After the problem is settled, the Front-Controller is realized according to the design of overall functional modules, on the base of the circulation of configuration information.3. Design and realization of targetTo meet the demand of the Front-Controller realized before, we rebuild the target model and improve the operating process according to the overall demand of system. The target is realized after meticulous and deep going work, with every functional module of target designed and realized nicely.4. Validation Test of the systemAfter distributed real-time simulation system is realized, we do a validation test of it according to the overall design requirements of system and the result shows well.
