With the development of computer graphics and computer network, the process of simulation is became to more visual, more intelligible .more exchangeable and more vivid .The visualization technology in real-time and distributed simulation is a crucial technology, this study has theory significance and works utility value.This paper has researched mainly key technology in visualization, including the features of visualization of simulation in real-time and distributed environment, 3D modeling, scene simulation and the real-time display of real graphics, in detailed as follows:(1) It analyses the features and demands of visualization technology of simulation in real-time and distributed environment and gives the plan of realization, it has also defined a feasible software develop environment.(2) The 3D object modeling methods, the basic theory of scene modeling and the methods of geometry modeling in MultigenCreatorpro are studied systematically in this paper. Using the professional modeling tools remedied the deficiency caused by only using the instance storehouse of OpenGL when modeling complex object, such as 3DS MAX, MultiGenCreatorpro.(3) This paper studied the algorithm of reading 3D model data in OpenGL and has realized it. It has also realized simplify model with display list of OpenGL.(4) The paper studied some related theory and methods with real graphics. It has also researched the simulation algorithm of special effects, including multi-transparent fire texture algorithm, dispersion effect of trail of missile algorithm and simulated the later.(5) This paper has developed the visualization software of real-time and distributed simulation. The software gives thecurve-display, the meter-display, the 3D animated display of real-time data in simulation.
