Reconfigurable computing is a emerging architecture, which expands tasks both spatially and temporally and get flexibility close to general purpose processor (GPP) and performance close to application specific integrated circuit (ASIC). Multimedia application is one kind of application that can be processed with reconfigurable computing appropriately because of compute- intensive and their regular structure.This paper is a part of the national"863"high-tech research and development project"Embedded reconfigurable mobile multi-media processing core technology". It researched the design and mapping of template on coarse grain multimedia reconfigurable processor REMUS and model REMUS on SoC Designer platform. This paper firstly introduced the REMUS architechture. Then REMUS architechture was modeled with C++ on SoC Designer platform. After that templates were designed and mapped on REMUS architechture.
