This paper mainly studies the design and control of a toxic, corrosive, inflammable, granular powder automated feeding production line with high-precision. First of all, according to powder characteristics, feeding precision, efficiency and other requirements, the work flow and system structure of automated production line is designed. Then through the analysis of the existing powder feeder, a rotary feeder using volumetric method as the theoretical basis is designed. On this basis, according to the powder container of small volume, light weight, and hat structural characteristics, a powder container automatic feeding, online weighing and powder container automated orderly placed is designed. Control system adopts Siemens S7-200 PLC as primarily controller, five positioning module EM235 as external expansion, a C8051F500 - IQ as microprocessor sorting organization movement 2,RS-485 interface building communication network. PLC control program arranges each main mechanism motion timing reasonably , orderly placing the powder containers meeting the weighing requirment, and adopts photoelectric sensor, limit switch to monitor the sports location and limitations.Sorting organization movement 2 controller's hardware circuit and program design are also designed.In order to make operation more convenient, simple, humanization, the Siemens KTP178micro touch screen is used, and the human-machine interface is designed. Finally, the design of the actual processing equipment and debugging assembly,the desired design goal is achieved.
