Recent years, laser technology developed very fast in the advanced production especially in micro-processing field of our country. As a new processing technology, it is non-contact, non-worn, non-plution, and has high efficiency, high add-value. So it is much more advanced and superior and is taking the place of tradition technology. Laser micro-drilling is a very important part of laser micro-processing. It's development brings an evolution to the micro-drilling. And many corporation are placing more emphasis on it.Nowadays, laser micro-drilling has realized automation abord. All in one laser and worktable control system is used to product micro holes with diameter of 0.02mm. Because of the lack of control technology, only manual or semi-automatic way of processing can be used in our country. And can only product holes bigger than 0.03mm diameter without micro holes which have higher add value. The micro-drilling equipments have to be imported. The price and maintain cost are very high. So it is necessary to develop a micro-drilling control system to make the inland micro-drilling technology catch up with advanced world technical levels.According to the background above the paper introduced the process of the design of a laser micro-drilling control system. This system is a part of the project we untertake from STCSM. It is the core part of the micro-drilling system and also authorized some pantents.At first, the paper discuss the domestic and overseas development and application of laser micro-drilling. And the advantage and necessity of it. Then the technique of laser micro-drilling was introduced, as well as the composing of the laser micro-drilling system: including DPSS laser,power supply,cooling system,laser beam guiding system,high definition flats control system。And we choose the outline circuilty processing method. Then, we analyze the requirments of the control system of the laser and the high definition flat. According to the requiments, we have chosen the most suitable and most benifital method and built the frame of the system.Based on the laser out put which laser micro-drilling needed, we choose the laser and anailyzed parameter of it. Baced on it we choose the most suitable industral card and use it to control the laser parameters right time.Then, this paper also designed a DSP-based high definition flat control system. After much study, this paper chose chips, stepping motor and designed its driving system. To insure the accuracy is , this paper also designed Gaster detecting system. With the control method we developed, the accuracy of the worktable completely meet the design requirementAfterwards, this paper developed the software specially developed for laser micro-drilling control system. As the specialties of laser micro-drilling, we developed a functional control software which including many new method, established all-in-one control of laser micro-drilling. It performed well in practical application At the same time, the project established a micro-drilling data base which supply the gap of this field inland.At last, this paper analyzed the interference immunity. Especially the control system of the worktable. Hardware and software anti-jamming is used to meet the need of industral production.This micro-drilling control system has supply the gap of the micro holes processing control technology inland. And it has a a good prospect of application.
