Along with the development of urbanization construction, the structure of power grid is more and more complex, and various types of switchgear in urban distribution network are widely applied. In practical work, manual operation often has probability of making mistakes, and these misoperation may likely lead to severe accidents, affecting the normal operation of power grid. Furthermore, personal injuries and operating accidents, caused by high-voltage presence of equipments indoor, sometimes take place. Therefore, Urgent demand for effective and practical indoor high-voltage presence indicating system has arisen.In this paper, working principles and structures of indoor high-voltage presence indicating devices are briefly analyzed, and functions and characteristics of all parts in these devices are also necessarily introduced, in order to point out deficiencies of existing high-voltage presence indicating devices. On this basis, a kind of new high-voltage presence indicating devices, using for indoor, is researched, and each modules of this new device, being given circuit diagram, are described in details. Working principles of these modules and their roles in the whole device are analyzed too; in addition, key components that each module requires are all under in-depth analysis and careful selection. This high-voltage presence indicating device without external power supply, not only reflects the charged status of circuit, but also could be coordinated with electromagnetic locks effectively, so that electrical operations, such as mandatory locking switch handles and valves, can be achieved. Both voltage presence module and forced locking module are under control of the same high voltage signal, but the circuit of each module is independent of each other and without disturbing each other, to ensure the accuracy and security of this device. Once the high-voltage circuit is in the status of voltage presence, electromagnetic locks are under locked, in order to prevent workers from misoperation or entering into charged spacing. The results show that high-voltage presence indicating device can accurately reflect the charged status of equipments with high voltage, and effectively achieve the function of locking, and then protects the safe operation of electrical equipments.The combination of the high-voltage presence indicating system in this paper and anti-misoperation system can greatly improve the safety of the indoor switch equipment operation, perfecting the structure of anti-misoperation system, and the technology adopted in this paper is also consistent with the developing trend of electric power safety.
