Design And Realization Of Examination System Based On B/S Structure

As the quick mature and development of Computer and network, Internet/Intranet's use becomes more and more popular over the world, it is possible to delelop an automated online exam system. The automated online exam system, for its advantage including equity, veracity, agility, celerity, convenient has been widely used in the international examination and certification. Currently, design of automated online examination system based on Client/Server structure, has safety stable characteristics, but the Client needs to undertake artificial maintenance, does not apply to the use of mass exam. An online examination system based on Browser/Server was designed according to the current characteristics of Management College of Tianjin Normal University, in order to alleviate the management personnel, reducing the workload of teachers.This paper depth analyzes application program framework, development technology and system characteristics of some online exam systems which is used widely, combined with the actual condition of our college, puts forward and develops a new online exam system based on.Net. Its main contents can be summarized as follows:1,This system is complete realized online examination and examination management functions, like examinee management, exam question storehouse management, marks management, examinees'papers monitor, production setting of papers, account number setting of administrator, and other functions.2,The system provide artificially-generation test papers, custom-generation test papers, auto-generation test papers three ways. Among them the auto-generation test papers based on random algorithm. Not only can undertake online examination, but also can produce papers according to teachers demand for traditional exam papers.3,This system use the latest technology, adopting the B/S structure design, overcomes the previous C/S structure system disadvantage.4,This system support SQL Server and Access in a body, offer two database access interface, further improve the system compatibility and maintainability.5,Combining with the teaching practice, design the question database.The article makes an explanation respectively from demand analysis, database design, the key technology realization of main function module, system operation process and other aspects. The system use UML Object-Oriented analysis and design Method. The System was developed using the B/S structure and the development tool of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, Microsoft SQL Server and Access as a background database development tool. Finally, the paper summarizes all the work, points out some problems existing in the system and the prospect of further work.
