Along with the rapid development of computer network technique and database technique, the On-line Test system, which facilitates the test management, makes the test scores and assessments after the examination available in time, improves the efficiency of teachers, will soon be widespread adopted as a test and certification way.Jiangxi Polytechnic College has engaged in the construction of digital campus and adopted the "Comprehensive Universities Academic Management System" module from"Digital Campus platform DC2006 system"since June, 2007, which has increased the efficiency of official business and information diffusion and changed the backwardness in information processing. How to build the next target of "on-line examination management system" based on this large system is the focus of this thesis. On-line management of examination is another magnificent goal of teaching management, which moves the various operations involved in the examination to network, including the examination contents, subject and staff members management, as well as the management of all aspects of the examination thesiss. It achieves a flexible and efficient management by network management information but the complex system. To achieve this goal, of course, it is necessary to address many issues, such as system's security, the amounts of data and the numbers of candidates according to the physical truth of school, the long time for thesis proposition and the high requirements to system, as well as the setting of knowledge point on the same course but different professions.In this thesis, it has a systematic analysis on specifics of on-line examination system first of all, including the construction of original database system, network construction and system procedures and so on, then in consideration of the construction target and the question of the realization, and analyzes a reasonable structure of thesis-base and parameters'setting of on-line examination thesiss, by the automatic pumping to achieve the on-line management of examination system and other related technologies.This thesis also gives a systemic content of the system design and realization. Finally, the system uses SqlServer2000 as the server database and ASP.NET as the development language, basing on the B/S model, and the client uses browser to complete the entire process of examination. The system constitutes of three main sub-systems, which are administrator's sub-system, teachers'and students'sub-system. Administrator's sub-system provides a information platform for examination management, including professional department, class, curriculum, data maintenance of teachers, allocation of the teaching task, backup and restore of database; teachers'sub-system provides services on management of thesis-base and the rules-setting of thesis, as well as the accessing of students'test scores; students'sub-system provides services for students to take a examination.
