Based on the current status of communication laboratory teaching in China, this paper presents the design scheme of modern communication network Laboratory construction project in North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering, it include five parts: broadband access platform, optical transimission platform, program-controlled exchange platform, NGN softswitch platform, EPON access platform.This communication network, which has designed and implemented in this paper, is an integrated communication internship platform with microminiaturization of a series of completely telecommunication operation network.It can enable students to master the basic principle theroy better, know the real running communication devices of telecommuniation opration agency, enable the real operate ability of students, reduce the difference between teaching experiment and real application in society, it has important impact to pratise teaching. The real application show that it has very good teaching results and promotion value.This paper mainly introduce the most important part of whole laboratory-optical transimission experimental platform, mainly research the structure of SDH frame, reuse mapping structure, common network toplogy structure and self-heal ring protection mechanism, and test the SDH optical transimssion experimental platform, the results show that each index of optical transimission experimental paltform in this integrated communication network internship platform are all measure up to standard.
