The Design And Implementation Of SDH Optical Transmission Network And Protection Way In Chongqing Unicom Building

SDH is a kind of comprehensive information network Technique which managed by uniform TMN together with multiplex, line transmission and cross collection . Introduce and use this kind of network consist of serial of the equipment, our communications network become more efficiency, more intelligent, more flexible, high viability, complete maintenance function, and low-cost on operation. As one kind of basic transmission network, SDH has a high request for network protect and recovery. Protection and recovery is the two primary routes to improve usability of transmission network. And recovery is being operated on network level.Based on the study of SDH optical transmission technology, a design of ChongQing Unicom building transmission system is presented in this thesis, the design includes system topology, plane layout of the machine room ,power-supply system, alarm system, o'clock timing, business telephone and fuse, etc. And then the protection way of SDH network, is chosen according to the application and enviroument of the optical transmission system. Through the configuration of Alcatel Optical communications equipment and the test, the design is implemented and proved to be reasonable and effective, and the chosen protection way used in the Chongqing Unicom building transmission system, achieve the expected results.
