However, facing millions miles of optical cables, network can be disconnected from nature disasters, building constructions, and unfortunately stealing as well as all kinds of possibilities, therefore,our investment seems powerless in HR and physical resources of maintenance.The benefit of Auto Switch System in optical cable industry are highly important for network maintenance and constructions, this reduces financial resources for operators. This System provides continuous and overall protection plan for Network in more simple, reliable and stable ways.The main reason of this research is to solve the problems of long distance transmission of SDH system and DWDM system cannot reconnect or self replace other connection when disconnected for many reasons, based on optical cable recovering speed, cost and other concerns. And the plan is demonstrated. Finally, the main subject in this research is to explain the Auto Switch System’s processes, theory, protect mode and how it accomplishes in long distance transmission system; reveal the main function, operation and maintenance in daily process of network management and supervisory control system of auto-switch protection system.
