Design And Implementation Of Telemedicine System In Traditional Chinese Medicine Inspection

. Telemedicine is a medical activity for remote patients which uses computer technology and telecommunication technology combining traditional medicine. Traditional chinese medicine (TCM) uses inspection, smelling, inquiring and palpation as a diagnosis, there is still in the face to face consultation. In our country, medical standard culture is very different. Because of geographic restrictions, many difficult and complicated cases of diagnosis and treatment problem have been caused. Therefore the implementation of TCM is an important subject.Based on the model of an existing hospital medical mode and combining with modern telemedicine technology, the paper designed a telemedicine system in TCM inspection which changes the face to face consultation of TCM to the distance medical mode. System uses videoconferencing technology which the doctor can observe the patient's looks and the form , with the language to communicate about the disease, and diagnosis into the case on file.In this paper, we first analyze the remote health systems development and application status, research on the development of chinese medicine technology remote diagnosis and the meaning of the chinese medical. Then, based on the treatment process of an existing hospital, we propuse the basic framework of the telemedicine system in TCM inspection, and give a design of the extensible chinese auxiliary diagnosis module. Moreover, we implement the video module of the system by using the JMF technology and the RTP/RTCP protocol. Finally, we draw a conclusion, and make a forecast on the system and future researching.The video consultation function that the system carries out satisfy the request of traditional chinese medicine inspection. The design method proposed by the paper has provided the reference for the Chinese medicine remote medical system.
