Telemedicine System Based On Hl7 Engine Design And Realization

With the rapid development of the social economy, people pay more attention to their health than ever before. While the traditional medical service become difficult to meet their demand. It is a very important task to make a better medical system for constructing a harmonious society. Owing to the development of modern communication and network technology, remote telemedicine now become reality.Based on this point, this thesis discusses how to implement a distribute telemedicine system based on HL7 Engine. With telemedicine system, a new kind of relationship between hospital and hospital, patients and hospital has been established; With HL7 Engine, the telemedicine system can easily exchange data with other systems, such as other hospitals or the insurance institutions. As a result, all the medical related system will be connected together to provide people with comprehensive service.This thesis elaborates the concept of telemedicine and its development at home and aboard. Summarizes the peculiar functions of a telemedicine system and designs the work flow of the main modules. Then designs and implements the main modules with MVC model and.NET technologies in detail. Meanwhile, U.S. health information transmission standard (Health Level Seven standard) is involved. With analysis of the grammar structure of HL7 message, a model is established for encoding and decoding HL7 messages. And the patient data of the system is described in HL7 RIM model to meet the requirement of HL7 Engine. At last, HL7 Engine is implemented with XML DOM technology and used in system modules.
