Design And Implementation Of Web Based Telemedicine System

With the rapid development of the computer industry and IT industry, the use ofcomputers to manage the information becomes a universal application. Telemedicine isa new multi-disciplinary which produced with a combination of the computertechnology. Because of the constraint of economic, geographical, the distribution oftraditional medical resource is not balanced, the emergence of telemedicine is to solvethis problem, it can make use of the computer and network communication for remotevideo and audio information transmission, query, sharing, storage and display.Telemedicine makes full use of the medical resource so that the under developed areasalso can enjoy the high level of medical services.In this thesis, remote medical background, the domestic and foreign developmentcondition, and the related J2EE technology and the Struts structure were discussed, andthen give the demand analysis of the system. In the overall design, the system is dividedinto3modules according to the function: user settings module, the long-distanceconsultation module, electronic case module, which is responsible for the managementof basic information of users and system, related functions of remote medical andelectronic patient information. Then it introduced each module structure andimplementation process. In the design of telemedicine system, it also paid attention tointegration with the existing HIS system.(Hospital Information System) Finally in thesystem implementation, it describes how to achieve the function of the system from thedata layer, business logic layer and presentation layer, at last the entire developmentprocess are summarized.This thesis uses the J2EE platform to achieve a more comprehensive functions oftelemedicine system, the DAO, MVC and other kinds of design patterns are integratedused in the design and development of the system, and the popular frameworktechnology of each layer are discussed, it haves a variety of functions of thetelemedicine, so that patients and doctors can have real time communication, and iteffectively improves the work efficiency of medical staff and hospital quality. Thetelemedicine will play a greater role in future.
