As an important part of telemedicine, Telemedicine consultation is a developing application of clinical medicine where information is transferred by the multimedia communication technology. Telemedicine is mainly used in areas of medical and public health database retrieval, telemedicine consultation and outpatient consultation, tele-medicine, tele-examination, remote monitoring, remote learning and remote management of the iatrical incidents. During recent years, the developments of network technology and multimedia technology accelerate the course of integration, digital and intelligent of the communications technology.Based on the above background, my research will focus on the communications technology which used in telemedicine consultation System and applications to the innovated system, details are as follows,From analysis of the situation at home and abroad, we could see that the communication of telemedicine are generally implemented by video conferencing systems which transmit patient information and diagnostic images through video. However, the images'quality can not be guaranteed, and it is lack of strict supervision as well. The innovated system in my report is designed to comprise two modules to improve: data transmission modules and medical video conferencing module, respectively, using different transfer agreement. Medical data transmission module using DICOM transfer agreement is a new network model of DICOM standards, which compromised the advantages of transfer process, the characteristics of hierarchy and the TCP/IP network protocol layer structure. Video conferencing module implements multimedia data transmission via RTP/RTCP and IPv6 protocol, and achieves optimization through its RSVP agreement. Client and server-side bottom adopt the design of the thread pool, which can adjust the hardware configuration of nodes , synchronously regulating the number of requests received communications ceiling, so as to achieve the best possible load balancing, play each node optimal performance.
