Construction Of The Website To Improve Rural High School Students' Visual Literacy Research

This research is aimed at practical problems which are faced by the rural high school students during the process of IT teaching, such as over-evaluating technical training with teachers overlooking students'personality development, depending unduly on ready resources lacking contents on visual culture, and laying particular stress on the convenience of resource application neglecting the development of visual quality. With these problems, research has been carried out to explore its root and to put forward the view that by combining theory with practice visual accomplishment education should be fused with the construction of its subject website so as to promote students'visual quality.The research mainly adopt the following methods:case study method, literature research method, action research method and questionnaire survey.During the process of research, strengths and weaknesses of existing visual quality subject websites both at home and abroad have been compared and analyzed so as to provide practical reference for the development of this project. The research has chosen average high school students from three typical regular senior high schools in Gaochun County and systematically analyzed the cause of its result, which finds that masses of rural high school students'visual quality is low in general. Those students are lack of due critical spirits and scanning ability, due to their impercipient cognition of the pictures'quality. Besides, An effective set of teaching measures and strategies has not been established in rural high schools, which needs further researching into and developing.This research combines the construction of rural high school students'visual quality subject website with IT teaching, and with the aid of the subject website, the research which is based on visual quality and aimed at the methods and ways to reform modern IT teaching is intended to reallocate different sorts of informative resources available, research into methods and means of promoting visual quality education as well as the specific application of visual culture in modern IT teaching process, obtain an original theory, a practical research result and a research conclusion with a certain high degree and depth. The research has a certain reference function and realistic influence on the visual quality development of the high school students in Gaochun County.
