For Education And Museum Studies

With recent development of Chinese museum enterprise, museum of all types continue to appear to fill in the blanks. Chinese education has a long history and many educational heritage preservation, museum of education is the inevitable subject in the development of museum. Through platform of museum which display and propagate the idea of education better, more people understand the history of Chinese education and the outstanding traditional cultural education. Its appearance both sums up the history of Chinese education and witness to the future development of education.However, the history of Chinese museum is short. There are some deficiencies in the quality of employees, financial investment, management model, etc. As a new research field, little research has been carried out on the museum of education. Existing literature on the subject is widely scattered through various jurnals and articles. It has not yet been carried out systematical and overall research into museum of education. Based on literature and multi-subject method, putting theory with practice, the paper analyzes the problem in the development of museum of education and its prospects in the hope that offer beneficial help for the museum.In the first part of this paper, it summarizes the development of Chinese education history, significance of the topic, research methods, etc. The second part talks about the definition and summary of museum of education. The third part is the function, characteristic and meaning of the museum. The forth part is the basic work of the museum, including the collection, exhibition design, website building, social education and services. The fifth part is its current development, disadvantages and its development prospects in future.
