Research And Realization Of DVD Video Streaming For The Video Monitor

In today's society, the application of security technology becomes more and more extensive. Due to the large amount of data, the traditional video monitoring system stores data on hard disk. Because hard disk has shortcomings which are high price and short life, so we can use DVD disk to replace hard disk storing data. How does compressed video data change DVD format data, which is a key technology. Therefore this paper provides a solution which make MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 compressed video data change DVD data.First, this paper introduces MPEG-2 standard, analyzes the program stream, transport stream and time information, then focuses on researching the structure of VOB and IFO files on the DVD disk, detailed gives a method which generates VOB and IFO files by MPEG-2 compressed streaming. Because MPEG-2 standard provided PTS and DTS calculation method is very complicated. This paper gives a new calculation method: According to MPEG-2 timing model, we can know has a characteristic which DTS value of video increases by frame. and there is a constant value between PTS and DTS. According to PTS , we can determine the value of DTS. First we can set an initial value for PTS , then calculate DTS and PTS by the informations of frame rate, frame type, frame sequence in ES stream. Meanwhile there are part of DVD players can play MPEG-4 compressed data. This paper also come up with a method which make MPEG-4 compressed stream change TS file. The benefit of using TS file is that the players can play multichannel video program by the program ID. First introduce TS header structure and adaptive area, analyses the structure and function of the PAT and PMT table. Focuses on researching how will PES packet be divided into TS bag and how dose generate TS file, meanwhile compares the advantages and the disadvantages of two DVD streaming which are MPEG-2 VOB and MPEG-4 TS. The program of this paper is finished using C language in VC++6.0 platform, which has good portability. At last using the method of this paper generates MPEG-2 VOB and MPEG-4 TS files and plays them on the DVD player. The video picture quality is good, no Mosaic effect and broadcast fluently. Using some softwares analysis the data of generated files, the data respectively conform to DVD Forum and MPEG-2 standard, so it is successful that we make compressed stream generate DVD video stream.
