As a detecting and recording tool for all kinds of data in the industrial production, Multi-functional paperless recorder has many advantage,such as simple operation,low cost, powerful and strong storage capacity.And it become an indispensable second instrument in production automation system.The new generation of embedded chip is not only faster than ordinary microcontroller in processing speed,but the rich peripheral circuit of which also greatly shortened product development cycle.This paper mainly studies the application of the paperless recorder in the embedded system.Based on the present situation and the development tendency of cashless recorder,the paper use ARM LPC2138 as core processor to struct paperless recorder system architecture.The design mainly is divided into digital recorder hardware system and software system,including many modules such as data acquisition and data processing, data storage,LCD displayand communication.This paper starting from the software design ideas to ADS1.2 for software development tools, program the software for various hardware modules as applications to realize the paperless recorder function.The mainly work of the subject are as follows:1. Research the development situation and the development trend of the recorder. Analyse the advantage of the paperless recorder.Declare the significance of this research.2. The overall structure framework design of the paperless recorder system, including the design of hardware system structure,and the design of recorder software system structure.According to the market research,this subject put forward the new features and the realized functions of the paperless recorder.3. The design of software module. Software module mainly includes data acquisition and processing,real-time data display,data analysis and data storage module.The whole software system using C language,modular and structured design ideas.The structure is simple.lt is easy to operate and easy to be extended.This subject not only completes data acquisition and processing algorithms,LCD module design,communication module design and reliability design of field instruments,but also completes the USB interface module design,superinduces design of the network transmission module.And the data processing algorithm is further improved.The subject research also laid solid technical reserves basis for company's recorder research and development.
