| This dissertation discusses the application software design in an Embedded Digital Video Recorder System, which covers the areas of both interaction design and software design. It includes several subjects like; user recognition, software development, coding technique and software test.Chapter 1 introduces the background and the current status of Embedded Digital Video Recorder System, Embedded Linux System and GUI design.Chapter 2 provides the overview of the hardware system design as well as the software system design.Chapter 3 discusses the design of the software modules and the relationship among them.Chapter 4 focuses on the widgets and events in the system and compares them with the popular design tools.Chapter 5 talks about the system environment and the connections between the GUI processing and the other processing.Chapter 6 introduces a series of software testing methods, analyzes and compares the effect of different methods in this system.Chapter 7 concludes the research works of the dissertation, and gives the prospect of further research work. |
