During the modernization of industrial processes, multi-paperless recorder is mainly used to collecting, monitoring, recording and processing process parameters such as data of temperature, pressure, frequency and flow. It is the basis for real-time analysis and process control of industrial process monitoring. With the rapid development of high-tech, such as microelectronics technology and computer network information technology, development of recorder is from traditional mechanical analog recorders to digital versatile recorder.The design of the core processing chip adopts Samsung’s S3C6410core chip, and it is a16/32bit RISC microprocessor, which is designed to provide an application processor solutions of cost-effective, low-power, high-performance. Embedded operating system adopts Windows Embedded CE6.0, which is a multi-threaded, full priority and multi-tasking operating system of a finite resource from the overall design of the platform. Based on the above hardware and software platform, we give the hardware and software design of multi-purpose paperless recorder.Hardware system design of multi-purpose paperless recorder is included:module design of front-end signal conditioning circuit, module design of power, module design of external A/D acquisition, module design of data storage, module design of data communication, module design of LCD display interface. The system uses both internal and external A/D data acquisition:microprocessor S3C6410has12-bit ADC (analog/digital converter) of CMOS,which is used as data acquisition of less precision, but requires high sampling speed; In addition, we increase ICL7135as circuit design of external A/D acquisition which is equal to14-bit conversion accuracy for higher accuracy requirements but less sampling rate of demanding data acquisition.Software system design of multi-purpose paperless recorder is included: development platform build of Windows Embedded CE6.0system, tailoring and transplantation of Windows Embedded CE6.0system, the underlying interface flow-driven development of Windows Embedded CE6.0system; Development of embedded applications:human-computer interaction program is composed of real-time dynamic display of data, data record and stored in the data recording and analysis of data storage.Dynamic Link Library is the emphasis and difficulty of software system design, stream interface driver design of this system is included:stream interface driver of internal A/D acquisition, stream interface driver of I/O port, stream interface driver of three-way analog switch, stream interface driver of ICL7135of external A/D acquisition. Stream interface driver, which is dynamically loaded into the user-mode DLL from the Device Manager (device.exe), is also known as the installed driver.Finally, the compensation of flow and the design of configuration are also important and difficult.
