In this paper, a 500t/d lime product line in lime factory is the concrete research object. An intellectualized control solution is put forward after analyzing the current status in lime factory with low quality and high expense of products. The development status of lime industry is narrated, and the research analyzed a lime process and its characteristics of related machine equipments, it also studied the DCS network framework, system's physical constitution and hardware. Further more, a configure system based on PCAuto is designed. The simple PID-Control system and its Parameter characteristics is firstly studied, and then the fuzzy-control the intelligent control is investigated specially, and the framework and its theory is labored, After using the MATLAB7.1 software to simulate the Fuzzy-PID strategy and contrasting two different curves, it concluded that Fuzzy-PID Control system completely satisfied the demand of temperature control of lime kiln theoretically. By the test of integration research through DCS and PLC, the control methods of industry spot equipments is simulated, the advantage of DCS control system such as, real-time, stability, operation simple, and vivid interface are important for process industry. In the end, on the foundation of this DCS design, it can provide certain reference value for the actual design.
