In this paper, making the best important loop--the cement rotary kiln calcination process in the production process of cement as the studying object, study it on the base of the intelligent control deeply.The production process of the cement rotary kiln is a typical engineering thermodynamics with great inertia, pure lag and strong coupling. So traditional PID control can hardly control it accurately. In this paper ,on the base of the production data of one big cement factory, use Matlab simulate the intelligent control of the cement rotary kiln.Firstly, based on the production data, establish a simulation model by Matlab's Iden.Then, study the fuzzy control on the identified intelligent model. In the study of fuzzy control, there are a one-dimension two order fuzzy control, a two-dimension one order fuzzy control and a fuzzy PID control. Simulate those control models and compare them with the effect of the PID control. Lastly, study the neural networks using in the cement rotary kiln and establish a Neutral Networks Model Reference Controller and simulate its effect.
