IT Planning And Implementation For Diversified Enterprises

Along with the development of the enterprise, various information systems are being built according to the business needs in order to improve the labor efficiency and reduce the labor intensity. The systems increased provide functions for the end users. However, due to the lack of unified strategic planning, these systems also bring difficulties in centralizing data, managing unified, and achieving high density data for the leaders to make decision, especially in diversified enterprises. Hence, the concept of enterprise IT planning arises at the historic moment. IT planning is the process during which enterprises apply information technology in the production and operation management, and make use of information technology to reform and improve their management level. The essence is to strengthen "the core competitiveness" of enterprises.Based on the current situation of the Group which the author belongs to, this paper proposes the goal of the informatizatoin vision and planning to drill down the complex relationships among business systems, in considerations of the middle and long development needs of the enterprise. It formulates the blueprint of the Group's informatizion planning, determines the roadmap of the IT planning, and estimates the investment of informatization project. At last, making use of the core project of IT planning—portal, this paper demonstrates the feasibility and the implementation process.This paper mainly contains innovations from the following three aspects:First, this paper illustrates the process from nothing to something of the IT planning of Group-type enterprises. It goes intensively and further step-by-step, and easy to implement and operate, so that other enterprises can take it as a reference for their informatization process.Second, along with the current informatization situation and strategic needs of the Group, this paper establishes the application architecture of the Group's infomratization according to the current domestic and abroad development situation of the enterprise infromatization. Through mapping businesses, this paper plans the informatization blueprint of the enterprise. According to the risk analysis, benefit analysis and the dependencies among projects, this paper finally proposes detail roadmap of the informatization implementation, and analyzes the informatizatoin investment.Third, on basis of the roadmap of the informatization implementation, a core basic project has been carried out, and the integration of system resource has been realized in steps through the portal system. The first phase of this project has implemented the SSO (single-sign-on), unified personal work platform, managers' dashboard, and etc., which verifies the practicality of the IT planning proposed.
