Study On Informatization Planning Of S Company Based On Strategic Alignment Model

In the context of the rapid development of information technology and the deep integration of informatization and industrialization promoted by the Chinese government,implementing the informatization of the equipment manufacturing industry has become the urgent need for growing and dealing with global competition of equipment manufacturing enterprises.But during the process of informatization implementation,the "IT black hole" or "information island" phenomenon has arised in a lot of equipment manufacturing enterprises.To avoid this,an effective informatization planning is essential.This paper took S Company as the research object,and analysed the operation status,strategic goals and current situation of informatization of S Company,based on researching the theory of informatization planning,then proposed IT strategic plan for S company according to Strategic Alignment Model by using approaches such as Value Chain Analysis.After that,the overall enterprise information architecture was constructed by Information System Architecture.Finally,this paper offered the informatization implementation strategy of S Company,as well as analyzed the risk existed during the process of informatization implementation,and proposed appropriate preventive measures.The contents of the informatization planning of S Company and its development steps could provide certain guidance to the process of the informatization planning and implementation of S Company,and make S Company more target-oriented to choose a correct direction of development in the future.Meanwhile the paper could offer a reference of informatization planning for other equipment manufacturing enterprises in a similar developmental stage.
