Ancient books in Chinese history and culture are significant symbols. But due to restriction by different factors, we have lots of development and utilization problems of ancient books resource currently. Ancient books as a particular information resources when we protect them at full stretch, also need take effective measures to enhance the utilization of ancient books in order to reflect them own value.Henan Province is located on center of China, the main headstream of Chinese culture which had more than 20 dynasties, up to 200 emperors built their capitals up in here. Their numbers accounted for a half of total by eight ancient capitals of China, also is the political, economic, military and cultural center area. Profound history and culture brought up Central Plains'splendid culture and vast classic literature. Moreover, people could not develop local economy and culture without in-depth researching ancient books. During the time of developing advanced cultural, nothing but to dealing with the relationship between them. To developing Henan ancient resources, researching traditional culture, creating quality culture will make us stay peak of culture at all over the world, only national culture is stand for international, which full of regionalism and popular culture is also stand for charming. Therefore, it is very important and necessary developing and utilizing ancient books for local economic and cultural development.To come through development of ancient books in Central China can play a positive role, not only can promote socio-economic development in central region, but also make ancient local literature for "the best use."This thesis chose each dynasty in Henan edition's block-printed, manuscripts, script, type edition and book of rubbings before 1912 which is divided by six parts.Part one was introduction, proposed research background, significance, status quo and research methods, innovations, to clarify the situation of writing this article.Part two used the basic concepts and characteristics of ancient books as a starting point. Combine with the current situation then summed up the value of the ancient books contents. Part three went through calculate the collection of ancient books in Henan, introduced the academic value of ancient and achievement recent years.Part four emphasized the economic and spiritual civilization, combined with the actual situation around Henan province, described the great effect of development and utilization of ancient relative to the economic and civilization strategy in Henan.Part five tried to find out the shortage of develop and use the current ancient resources, follow up give corresponding recommendations. Solve the major problem in the process of construct civilization Henan.The last part summarized major contribution and insufficient on this paper and made prospect for future research.
