TV media has a great influence not only on the traditional mode of life but also on the mind and value of the villagers, which is long-term and imperceptible. Via TV villagers explore the outside world, know different thinking, receive the ideas and imitate the way of life conveyed by TV media. Those traditional customs and traditional ceremony which TV media doesn't involve have being weakened and simplified, or even ignored. Along with the further intervention of TV media, the villagers in WeiJia, especially the younger generation, hold indifferent attitude toward the ceremony of Ghost Day on July 15. That is to say, the traditional folks and traditional festivals which TV media involves directly can be further inherited, while those which TV media involves indirectly or never may be simplified and ignored as people do not get advocated and guided habitually, the same is true of the ceremony of Ghost Day in WeiJia village.
