Analysis Design And Implementation Of The International Ordinary Mail Production Operations System

International Ordinary Mail business is not only an important part of the postal services, but also the main foreign-related aspect of China Post. In recent years, with the development of the International Ordinary Mail business, a higher quality and level of service was required by China Post's customers. To further improve the competitive ability of service qualities of China Post's international mail business, continue to increase market share, the use of advanced technologies and products, building information and automated application systems have become very necessary and urgent. With the support of Universal Postal Union (UPU), the International Cooperation Department of China Post Group Corporation proposed the construction needs of "International Ordinary Mail tracking and tracing system".International Ordinary Mail Production Operations System is not only the source of data, but also the basis and precondition of the International Ordinary Mail tracking and tracing. It is main for the information collection and processing of the mail sorting, opening, sealing and other business process aspects; through interface to share information with other related systems; and providing sound basic data for the mail tracking and tracing system. This paper just began with the design and analysis of the international ordinary mail production operations system.This paper firstly introduces the research background, analyzes the status of the international ordinary mail production operations mode and the urgent need for information systems, confirm the content and significance of the research. The paper also detailed describes the key technology which was used during the system development process, and analyzes and selects the required database, development platform and development tools which were in need for building the international ordinary mail production operations system. Then, this paper analyzes the overall scheme; introduces the business demands; detailed analyzes the key modules'design and implementation of the international ordinary mail production operations system. Finally, this paper summarizes the research process and results, and prospects the subsequent work.
